Delay Analysis of IEEE 802.11be Multi-Link Operation Under Finite Load

چکیده

Multi-link Operation (MLO), arguably the most disruptive feature introduced in IEEE 802.11be, will cater for delay-sensitive applications by using multiple radio interfaces concurrently. In this paper, we analyze delay distribution of MLO under non-saturated traffic. Our results show that upgrading from legacy single-link to successfully contains $95$th percentile as traffic load increases, but also adding extra yields rapidly diminishing gains. Further experiments conduct on Google Stadia traces, accounting realistic with batch arrivals, confirm insights stemming our theoretical analysis, vouching support high-resolution real-time video a controlled delay.

Delay Analysis of IEEE 802.11 Ad Hoc Networks in Finite Load Conditions under the Hidden Terminal Problem

The paper presents an analytical model for the estimation of media access delay for IEEE 802.11 ad hoc networks in finite load conditions under the hidden terminal problem. The simulation results show that the analytical estimated media access delay metric is fairly accurate.

Delay Performance Analysis and Evaluation of IEEE 802.11e EDCA in Finite Load Conditions

The paper presents an analytical model for the performance evaluation of IEEE 802.11e EDCA scheme under finite load conditions on the basis of various instances of delay metric (i.e., media access delay, queuing delay and total delay). The simulation results show that the analytical estimated instances of the delay metric are almost accurate. The paper exhibits that concerning the delay of serv...

IEEE 802.11 packet delay-a finite retry limit analysis

The contribution of this paper is on the study of packet delays for the IEEE 802.11 wireless local area network DCF MAC protocol. A method is presented capable of taking into account retransmission delays with or without retry limits. We present an analytical model based on a Markov chain which allows us to derive closed form expressions for the packet delays, the probability of a packet being ...

Maximum Allowable Dynamic Load of Flexible 2-Link Mobile Manipulators Using Finite Element Approach

In this paper a general formulation for finding the maximum allowable dynamic load (MADL) of flexible link mobile manipulators is presented. The main constraints used for the algorithm presented are the actuator torque capacity and the limited error bound for the end-effector during motion on the given trajectory. The precision constraint is taken into account with two boundary lines in plane w...

Finite Element Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Column Under Lateral Load

To serve its purpose a structure must be safe against collapse and serviceable in use. Serviceability requires that deflections be adequately small to keep the cracks within tolerable limits. Although the widely followed ACI Code suggests a detailed method of deflection calculation, it often cannot exactly perceive the actual behavior of a structure. For this purpose, finite element analysis, u...
